No time or efforts had been spared to increase the reliability of PGD results and to make PGD procedure less demanding for its practitioners. However, like in the early years of any new procedure (eye surgery seems to be a good example) the outcome depends more upon the people who perform it than the equipment used. Dr. Evsikov (see Getting Personal) will perform all embryo biopsy, blastomere fixation, and FISH analysis during PGD cases, or will personally instruct and supervise your laboratory personnel in embryo biopsy and blastomere fixation.

Our experience shows that reliable PGD results obtained only when outstanding human skills are being combined with the right tools. That is why our FISH Capture and Analysis Workstation is a pinnacle of modern technology (see “Instrumentation”).
